Re: Hiding Icons

I read the posts in the link but it the question basically is how do you hide the icons when the option is not given? On my 7100i the there icons are the keyboard lock, wireless on/off and power off/on. Are there other themes that can be loaded the give you the option to hide ALL the icons?

You can change the order. From the main screen scroll to the icon that you would like to move then hold in 'alt' while tapping in the track wheel once. The menu options will ask you if to move icon or to hide it.

I've used this to hide pocket day. Since although I use the program I think the main icon is ugly.
Let me know if that applies to the 7100's i'm not sure. Or if someone else can confirm

Re: Hiding Icons

oh your question was edited slighty. What OS version are you running. I could hide those three either on my 7290 now i'm on 4.0.0.198 and I can hide everything.

Re: Hiding Icons

I'm running 4.1, 7100i Nextel.

The keys are the same as the 7100i as well.

I too have a 7100i (v 4.1.0.136 software) with Nextel and wanted to hide the Nextel.com and Nextel WAP icons since they arent able to have their opacity changed to match the rest. I used the steps as outlined and the hide option was indeed there and worked fine.

Re: Hiding Icons

I just did this with the enterprise activation and set up internet email icons on my 7105t. But be careful because I also just accidentally hid my messages icon lol but I got it back. I discovered this feature when I had my 7100t's.

I have been wondering about this too.

Thanks to all who raised this issue and especially to the guru who helped out with a solution. I have a 7100v (4.1 O/S) and this "move/hide app" trick is a treat.

Thanks again
