    Hidden Icons after theme activation

hey guys, i'm new to the bb world...

i've activated a theme on my verizon 7130e, and after it sets everything up, it 'hides' the icons, and when i scroll it them brings it up.... its more like a ghost, until you select it..... is there a way to deactivate this?

any help would be nice, thanks!
i'd also like to add that when i hold alt and click on the thumb wheel... the show all option is not available....

    fel0ncod3, Welcome to PinStack.

Apparently you downloaded one of the custom theme that use transparent or very translucient Icons. This is done on purpose so that the Background image is not obscured. The reason that the Show All is not available is that you haven't hidden any Icons yet.

If you don't like the invisible Icon theme try loading another making sure the sample image provided shows the Icons on the Home screen or the description states Full Icons and not Transparent Icons.

Personally, I use the Transparent Icon themes exclusively. If you keep the Icons in the same location all the time you'll soon get used to going to them without problem, just by location.

    Hope This Helps.

Hi fel, welcome to pinstack.com. Why dont you try to download some of my themes, located in my sig. I have the icons slightly visible so you can see them, but not too visible so you can see the wallpaper.

I'm sure that you will enjoy making your own. It's fairly simple, and if you follow the instructions in the Theme Builders Users Guide, a PDF file that will show up in the Docs Folder where you install the Plazmic SDK, you will have no problems.

Good Luck and happy Theme Building.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~Welcome to Pinstack! Glad you already got some excellent advice. What programs do you guys use to make transparent icons? I enjoy the themes I have but HATE that I don't have transparent icons for my 3rd party apps (DateReminder, TotalFitness, Opera, etc). I appreciate any insight.

TechieGirl, You can't make 3rd party Apps Icons transparent. It just ain't possible.

That said, I use Photoshop Elements 4.0 for all my Theme Images. I've created a single Icon that is only a Transparent Background for all my Non-Focus Icons in Theme Builder.

    Hope this Helps.

    AUTOMATION BABY!!!

Its amazing what you can find with a little research...

I'm not sure if this has been posted here before but if it hasn't, it has now....

I was trying to find a way to edit 100 icon files in the default folder of my home screen.... I later found the link above.......

Now you can edit 100 files in the same way (opacity for me) and voila!

5 minutes of research, 2hours of saved time... :-D
