I’m new to blackberry’s and I have a simple question. I was in the calendar trying to set up a meeting so I can send out invites….the only problem is when I try to create one, it always prompts to appointments and I could never invite attendees… can someone help me with this issue? [/FONT]

If you're not on a company Blackberry enterprise Server (BES) then you won't be able to invite from your device.

I am having the same issue with my 7130e from Verizon. I confirmed with my corporate support that I am the BES. I also checked with my co-workers that have the 7250 and they do not have this issue while using the same BES.
Does the BES have be at a certain software maint. level for this support?
He was not aware of this problem and suggested that I call Verizon, which I will do later today.

Just got off the phone with Verizon Tech Support, they were stumped....they will be doing more research on this.

You can send an appointment to someone via the MMS feature. We use it all the time in our office.

I second what Kevin said, you just type an invitation into a new message, add contacts to the 'To' field. Then click the track wheel and go to 'Attach Appointment'. Easy as pie.
