    Ginoz, Welcome to PinStack.

Actually you should be able to use the 4.2, just don't try the Media Manager. But I hear that sometimes 4.2 does have problems with some of the earlier devices.

Hello Ginoz, welcome to pinstack. As Rcb said you can use Desktop Manager 4.1 or 4.2, you just cant utilize the 4.2 OS abilities.

Let us know if you have any other questions...

    Re: help:(

    Hi there,
    Welcome

From a computer standpoint, since thats what a Blackberry is. The software involved in 4.2 succeeds the hardware involved. You can't just install Microsoft Win Vista on an older PC; Therefore you can't install 4.2 OS in your hardware and have it work properly.

Hope this helps with your trouble

Ginoz, You avoid clicking on Media Manager Everything else works just fine.
