    Question GcalcSync not connecting

    Hi All,

sorry if this has already been covered on another thread but I couldn't find it...

When I try and sync, I get an error message java.io.IOExeption: could not open tunnel - failed. Tried to set my firewall settings all to open but they wont change (?!?)

I don't know if this is connected to the firewall problem I'm getting with opera mini, error message 'attempting to open a connection to a location inside the firewall and outside the firewall which is not allowed by your IT policy'

I have an unlocked 7100t on vodafone, os 4.1.0.292

Please help, sorry for being a thick newbie!
    Cheers
    Ed

You need to change the TLS firewall setting from "Proxy" to "Handheld", in Options>Security Options>TLS.

That should fix the GCalSync problem.

i tried this as well, but am still getting the same error on my 8320 Curve with no Data Plan here in Mexico and using a TelCel prepaid card.

    Have a great evening!
