Hi, i was wondering if there is a way to email a pic from the pics folder. I can't find a way to attach one when i compose an email. I can forward pics that are in my email inbox though.

First you select the photo - then hit MENU, scroll down and you should find Send As Email.....

Hi Gary, thanks for the welcome and the reply. I don't have a Send As Email option.
    All i have is
    Set As Home Screen Image
    Reset Home Screen Image
    Open
    Delete
    Send As MMS
    Close

I have the latest software installed too. I'm just wondering if i'm missing something.

    *edit* I have a 7100i

Have you set up your BB email? Or any email for that matter ?

Maybe you've been forwarding MMS pictures and not emails

    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

No. On a 7100 the pictures folder holds the copywrited BlackBerry pictures (the Dolphins, the Arch, beach scene, snowy mountain scene, etc. etc. - we've all seen 'em) and it does not allow them to be emailed or MMS'ed.

Thanks for the reply Mark. Does this include pics that i have put in there as well? I'm assuming it does by your answer, but it never hurts to ask.

Apparently not - I just put one of my own pictures into that folder on my 7105t (which, for all intents and purposes, is identical to your device) and it won't show an attach option. A suggestion: Add a third party picture application, like Ascendo Photos, and it will allow you to email picture attachments easily. There used to be a free version of Ascendo floating around here at the Stacks, perhaps you can find it in "search" -

this only works sending to mobile numbers -- from Menu, "Send As MMS" then choose (name) from address book with mobile phone number, open Menu again and click Send.
