Go to options, screen/keyboard, and it will say led coverage indicator. Just set that to off, it won't flash anymore and it won't turn green when charged.

does turning off the led indicator make a drastic improvement on battery life? just curious.

Well, I'm talking about the green light that comes on when it is plugged in and fully charged. It is dreadfully annoying because it is super bright next to my bed and lights up the room. I'd love to have it OFF!

Or maybe you can just charge it during the day, like from your computer/laptop or in the car. And leave it unplugged at night. That way it won't light up your room. It might be a good work around

Shackk: It won't make much (if any noticable) difference. It's an LED bulb, and I've managed to run a single LED for just under 2 months straight on a couple A cell batteries. It was some type of experiment from my elementary school days, lol.

As for it still being on, I dunno what to tell you guys. I got mine (well its a 7100T; though I presume theres no difference in the light operation) here set for coverage indicator off and the light never turns on. Except for new messages, in which case it blinks red.

Oh I just thought of something else. Why don't you just lay your BB on a cloth, face down at night. That what the light won't bother

I have been putting the phone in backwards into the case with similar results...

I was sort of hoping that someone had a hack or program for this. I can't possibly be the only one who plugs in their bb next to the bed and is annoyed by the bright green light that fills the room like a search light.:ahh:
