i recently bought a jawbone earpiece, and from the first day, people couldnt hear me well. today i got a response from jawbone saying that the blackberry uses cda technology that conflicts with the noise-cancellation of the jawbone. is there any way to disable this feature? i bought this new from ebay, so i can't return it. thanks for your help

Yes, you can turn off the Noise cancellation by holding the black button on the very end for a few seconds...however, I have the jawbone, and the noise cancellation works very well for me. I've tried it both on and off, and on is much better. No complaints from people because they can't hear me. Hopefully you didn't get a defective unit.
