| Re: blackberry 7100(i) modem drivers https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...12184a4b4e35TR Your going to need to download the Desktop Software and run that. Your computer won't be able to use the BlackBerry as a modem without running the software. - Once the software is installed, and your BlackBerry is plugged into your USB port, it will then be found as a generic modem. From that you just setup a normal dialup networking connection to dial *99# (sometimes this is different; I'm not really sure why, but thats how I use mine) |

Modem drivers come with the BlackBerry Desktop software. You can download BlackBerry Desktop online. Download from your carrier here: http://www.pinstack.com/blackberryfo...thread.php?t=8 |

Both these links are not active. What needs to be done to get the 7100i to work as a modem? Mike |

You will need to use Shark Modem, which is the only way I have found to use the 7100i as a modem... www.sharkmodem.com |

Thanks, that did the trick. It's a little slow, but it works.

Thanks for the update. FYI, if you get a Sprint CDMA BB you will get EVDO speeds. |
