AOL Instant Messanger 7100i

Where can I find AOL instant messanger for my BB 7100i, I have a Mac so I am unable to load apps from my desktop. Is there any OTA AIM available, ive searched with no luck.

You can try downloading IM+ Over the air at wap.shapeservices.com. I think you can get a free trail.

I'd recommend ramble myself, its completely free. If your not going to "need" MSN/ICQ/Yahoo/Jabber then you might as well grab ramble

You'll see your complete buddy list on ramble. You can add/delete too.

i'd reccomend ramble as well...thats what i used on my last bb and i loved it!

Sometimes ramble freezes up or takes a bit longer than it should to complete some tasks....does ramble have any known glitches or anything?

It may be a memory problem on my end, but I find it takes quite a while to switch conversations when the screen fills up. You have to clear the conversation then it runs smooth again.

Also, it may be a coverage issue, but occasionally it will log me off. No biggie.

Has anyone gotten the audio notifications to work. Vibrate works, but no dice on the audio.

same here it will vibrate but no tone on message recieve even when optioned to.

I try to keep the audio off. I don't want to forget and have it start chirping at work. And I have had the same sluggish or lock up problem with ramble.

The audio actualy seems to work; but you have to put the speaker to your ear to hear it, lol. I don't know why it does that; nor does anyone else seem to have a clue why it's just so soft.

And yeah, sometimes it's a bit sluggish... but I figure it's much cheaper than IM+. Free software is bound to have a few issues.

I've had the lock up problem but I just switch over to ramble and eventually it seems to go away on its own.

Im having a problem with AOL messanging with all the IM clients. They dont show some buddies even though i know they are online. Now if i set them to show all buddies , i can choose to message any buddy that "shows" as offline and from there on we are able to communicate. Any thoughts?
