Has anyone ever encounter a arrow on the top right corner of the screen that highlight everything....and can you take it off?

Sounds like it might be the data activity arrow. Can you give any more information, maybe a screenshot?

Sounds exactly like what fisher said. Try to reboot the BB and see if its still there.

Is it a fat grey arrow pointing straight Up? If so, and nothing you can do removes it, you may need a replacement. What happens when you press the ALT Key (Or Equivalent)?
