    7100i more frequent hour glass

I'm starting to notice the hour glass more frequently on my 7100i. It's appearing during games, phone book updates, etc. Anyone have any idea why I'm seeing this hourglass more often? Pops up randomly with no apparent activity.

    Regards,

    Roveer

    Hello Roveen,
If you haven't found it already, do the following to find out about your used memeory:
    1.) Goto Options
    2.) Goto Status
In the Status menu look for File Free and File Total, which will show you, obviously, your total memory and how much is still available.

Roveer, I would start by doing a battery pull to free up some memory (take out battery with BB on then wait at least 30 seconds before putting battery back in). You can then go into Options/Advanced/Applications and delete some programs that you don't use like different languages. Be careful not to delete apps that you're not sure of because they may be important. Good luck.

I used this process a month ago, and it made quite a difference. Especially when I deleted the different languages. The only one left is English and now my BB is nice and fast.

    Cheers....

Is there anyway someone can post, what could be deleted and what we must NOT delete... I know I can delete some of the games I DL. Also why do I have 2 Texas Hold'em King2 in my applications and next to them I have these numbers 2.3.0 and the other is 2.1.9

What you can delete if you don't use them:
    Ringtones
    Themes
    Certificates
    Languages
    Memo Pad
    Calendar
    Calculator
    Tasks

Pretty much whatever you don't need or use you can delete...If you ever need it back, it's easy to do.

*BTW, I can't think of other things because I have deleted all the crap off my device that I don't use and replaced it with more crap that I don't use...

What about things that we should not delete?
    Ones that are needed...
Also you said languages, all I see on mine is "Language and Input Supp...
French 4.1" I don't even see English on mine

I was wondering, under my languages it says "English UK". Is that able to be deleted? Is just "English" on the phone already and not shown?

What holds me back is "crap I might use"

At least the various instant messengers that came preloaded (on my 7105t) ought to be fair game for removal.
