Vendor Themes on 8130

cp6169 asked if I had unlocked the vendor themes on my 8130. Here is what happened and what I did get.

I unlocked all the themes and the bb was really slow, I mean really slow. When I tried to open the options and go to themes the bb locked and gave me: "app error 523" and reset. I think it may be because I don't have all the language files loaded that the themes may have needed.

I re-edited the blackberry.alx file to open a few at a time so here are the ATT and Sprint themes in a few thumbs attached. The Sprint theme is nice but the ATT one looks like the same old stuff.

If I can open more I will update later.

so the ATT theme is the only one you unlocked?

i found this on blackberry about the app error 623 (a lot different than the jvm 523)

says to load the latest Desktop Manager...what ver are you running?

Yes, I am running th 4.3 DM that came with the BB. I think it is theme related and everything was fine when I re-edited the file back to what it was.

As far as the themes, Sprint and ATT so far. Trying to get others to work now.

sorry, missed the part about you being on verizon

i haven't been able to find any threads that say anything about the sprint/verizon OS's not being able to be unlocked. and cp did his for the 8830 when it came out.

they have to be hosted to show up in the body (like photobucket)...or to show as thumbs, i think they have to jpg format. i can reformat and post if you want

That would be great! Here are some more. These are the Rogers theme and the two different Vodafone themes.

I like that one also. But I am kind of partial to the verizon theme. I like the icons along the bottom.

Basically these are all the same themes as the 8830, I was hoping for some cool 4.3 OS vendor themes.

Ill still use the 5 line across the bottom TMO theme and the 5 line across the bottom Verizon. Thanks doughboy, lol.

Ya, the dimension L theme is on it but I have not used it yet. Not thrilled with the look as much. Like cp said, I like the 5 icon on the VZW theme.

Look in the theme forum and my 8130 theme unlocking guide with no errors posted few days ago. No problems and fast as ever.

OK, I got the T-mo themes to load with JLGUI as suggested. Here are the shots of the T-mo 5 icon themes.

The middle thumbs are with a different background image from the first two.
