With all this messaging my battery dies quick. Is there a stronger battery out, and is it worth getting it?

I have not seen any extended batteries on the market yet for the 8130. I do not know if the battery is much different the the 8100 but i would probably be on the safe side. Looks as if www.seidioonline.com will be posting one soon since it has the path for the extended battery but takes you to a blank page.

Crackberry posted a review of the 8100 extended battery today but no news if it works with other 81xx series devices.

yea looking to get 1 too...and saw crackberry's review on the extended battery for the 8100....hope it woks for the 8130 as well.........seems good though.......

I can't see why the batteries would not interchange. But then again I'm not a hardware guy, either.

the housing of the 8100 and 8130 are different but they both have the same battery number (c-m2) according to blackberry.com
