Also, does T-mo offer discounts on BB's for 1 year contract agreements?
The two CSRs I spoke to were not able to give me any pricing on the Curve/8320,
new or Upgrade.

If one has an existing TMO line -even when the Contract is over- they remain a customer.
Signing-up a fresh line would make one a new customer.

I'm not sure how the 'SmartAccess' works but, if eligible, they should be able to get you
onto a 1Yr. renewal (regular contract) but handset (BB) prices wouldn't be as attractive as
the 2 Yr. extension would get you obviously.

HTH.

Great! I look forward to picking up one on Monday too. Any good sites for Curve 8320 accessories? I will be picking up a black ultra-thin slip case.

Would it be ok to have it on the outside? Maybe. But I've taken out my card a grand total of 4 times in a year. When I get a 4 or 8gb card, I'll probably never take it out. Just fwiw to me. Thanks!

Re: TMO 8320 Curve details & Hotspot@home confirmed!

I signed up for T-Mobile Hotspot@Home, 9.99 per month. I will use with my upcoming TMO BB Curve and at other hotspots. The TMO rep said monthly service fee for Hotspot@Home will go up in cost in October. Anybody else planning to use TMO Hotspot@Home service? I stay at a lot of hotels, airports, cafes, and universities with WiFi access. This will be an interesting experiment using my BB Curve to make calls via WiFi.

The SD slot is underneath the battery. It's not in the same position as the 8830 from Verizon and Sprint. I have one these babies. It supports bluetooth audio. Voice quality in wifi mode is excellent. It comes with a 3.5 mm stereo jack. The cool thing is the earpiece that comes with the 8830 works on the iphone. You can use the control on the earpiece to pause your iphone.

I'm signed up for it too. I picked up the Linksys router this past weekend. I plan on using my BB as my main phone. (Screw you AT&T!!! I'm a slave to you no longer!!) Ahem, I hope to be quite happy with the service.
