Wiping it by going to security settings and wipe handheld in the menu~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

If you are talking about original out of box state then just go to. Options /security options/general settings and click the menu and select wipe handheld. This will restore your device to factory out of the box settings.

All correct, however you may also want to note that if you have turned on content protection, the process for deleting all data and applications from the BlackBerry smartphone can take up to an hour or more to complete. (Do not remove the battery while data is being deleted.) Also assuming you are running Device Software 4.2.2 or later, if you wish to delete 3rd party app's you will need to select the "Include third-party applications" check box after you select Wipe Handheld. |
