The WiFi performance is awesome...Especially since I have crappy coverage in my house...I just downloaded a 6500kb song OTA in about 25 seconds.

Oh ok, I mean I saw a quote like this from someone's testing "the internal browser is throttled by software" and I was like wth?

" cannot get a result on the speed test through opera mini, got a 'unstable or too fast on the 1MB file. Cannot test in the BlackBerry internal browser. Have done a fair amount of browsing with EDGE radio off testing at TMO HotSpot, personal 802.11g connection with Comcast, and other open Wifi areas. My conclusions: the internal browser is throttled by software, using 3rd part apps you can really see the difference. (google maps, and opera mini 4). In many cases EDGE through the internal browser was faster for rendering than wifi. Google maps over wifi loads satellite imagery after zoom almost instantly. Opera mini 4 render is also very fast compared to EDGE data. As one last test I went to 3gptogo.com and used that site to download the demo video to test internal browser on EDGE and wifi. End result was EDGE transfer was average of 9-10kbps. Wifi in numerous places was 6-7kbps. Hope this helps, know a bit off topic of thread but the question was asked. I will say though HotSpot@Home service works exceptionally well on this device." Quote:
that would be cool

Whoever posted that has something wrong then. I am not using At Home HotSpot, and I am getting some killer speeds....Well, except for the fact that right now I am uploading that big a$$ video onto youTube on my laptop, which is on the wifi too, as well as the curve and another computer right now...So that's effecting it right now...But once the video finishes up, i will do a bandwidth test.

So I just realized that you can be on calls, and as long as you are in a wifi area, still have access and use your browser, send/receive emails, etc.
