do you back up your bb often? I recently found out that you can choose the back up files... so make sure that your not restoring the wrong one... it will save on your bb all that's current plus keeps the old stuff if you don't apply the recent back up. I had the same problem a few days ago when I was learning how to update my os and kept restoring the wrong back up file. I hope this helps? lol

Thanks for the reply; however, I've never done a back up.

The issue is common and is usually caused by the mail host's mail server.
Basically the way it works is that when the BIS service scans your mailbox it keeps a record of each email by what is known as a refid. From time to time some mail servers will update or make changes causing the refid to be changed for the email. When this happens the BIS service sees a different refid and sends the email down to the BlackBerry because it thinks it is a new email.

    Ever a Fix?

Was there ever a fix to this issue?

A client of ours is recieving 2-3 week old emails every other day, using exchange.

    Thanks
