    Japanese on 8830 Sprint?

I've read thru some posts and apparently you by installing the Chinese version of the blackberry desktop software. Tried that and did not find the japanese.alx as it was posted in that thread. Also there was a link that was deleted because of it being in violation of the terms. So my question is, can anyone tell me how to get my hands on the japanese.alx so I can read emails in japanese? Thanks in advance!

    Re: Japanese on 8830 Sprint?

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the 8830 has Japanese Language support (by RIM anyway).

Just in case you don't believe me, the following is a list of all the RIM sites that have 8830 OS available:
    Alltel - v4.2.2.123
    Bell Mobilité Inc. - v4.2.2.123
    Bell Mobility Inc. - v4.2.2.176
    Cellcom - v4.2.2.123
    Iusacell - v4.2.2.176
    NTELOS - v4.2.2.123
    Sprint L.P. - v4.2.2.176
    Telus Mobility - v4.2.2.176
    U.S. Cellular - v4.2.2.176
    Verizon - v4.2.2.176
Try contacting DoCoMo. They MIGHT have a Language pack for Japanese, although it will cost - possibly for just the pack, although it might be a monthly service fee too. They are THE source for Japanese BlackBerry support!
