is there a free email reader?

ok, this is my first thread post, so i hope im doing this right. i have the 8830 WE,i have all my email accounts set on it, but when it tells me i have a new email, all i see is just a link for it and there is no email to read, just a 'shell' so to speak.
so my question is this... is there a free service that will allow me to accually read my emails with no problems or messages telling me that if i cant view this email,to go to this or that link....this all seems a waste of time for me and i know there has to be a better way to view my email.
the reason i ask if there is a free service for this is because we plan to change carriers in 30-60 days and i might get a different bb.
    thanks for any help.

Did you set up your email via BIS? Not sure why you are only getting links. Can you explain a little more of what and how you set up your email accounts?

Welcome to PinStack. You need a 3rd party application like BBSmart Email Viewer, to view HTML emails. You'll be fine if you move to another carrier. Cheers .

We need to know more about your problem, because if you are just getting a link when opening your email, there is something else wrong. An HTML viewer won't do anything.

Download JL Commander, install it and take a screen shot of an email (open the email on phone, plug phone into computer, open JL Commander, press number 3...follow prompts) and then post the pic here so We can see what you are seeing. That's the easiest way forus to help.

one email i just got from handango says:

    subject: save 10%
then it has a big long link... http//open3rm04.net/open//log....blah blah.... then it says 'if you are unable to see the message below, click here to view. then it gives another long link. then 2 or 3 more long links and the heading message again that says 'save 10%..blah blah.
and when i click on those links it opens bb web browser, but times out and no website opens.

Try this - load the free trial of the $10 HTML viewer to your device and see if that fixes your email viewing issue....

The link I posted is for Empower (the $10 version since you asked for free), both are available in the Pinstack store and both have a free trials so you can decide what works best for you.
