Sorry, there must be a tread on this(?) but I searched with no result.

How do I create a custom signature for my text messages?

    Thanks.

There isn't a signature option for SMS.

What most people for this is to create an Autotext entry and then when you type it out it will finish the rest.

I'm a bit confused why people need signatures for SMS though. Shouldn't the person you're texting have your number already? Just curious.

Thanks. The reason I ask is that I was 99% sure I'd seen an option before when drilling down in the options, but I couldn't find it again. (I guess I didn't after all :-)

And you're right, people I text will know it's me anyway!

    Thanks for the quick response.

    anytime CMD,

there is a default Autotext for what you put into your owner info.

Type "sig" and hit return on your BB in some message screen, it will finish it off with what ever info you put in your Owner Information.
