Question Assigning an application to key or button?

I'm new to the BB coming from TREO. Is there anyway on the 8830 to assign an application to a key or button other than the one "convenience key" which I keep hitting by accident.. For example, I'd like to be able to just push a button to launch the Voice Dialing from a key other than the one on the side of the phone.

    Thanks,

    Tony

The only key that can be assigned is the side "convenience" key. Go to Options --> Screen/Keyboard, scroll down to Convenience Key Opens: and hit the [Alt] key to display a list of apps to select from.

"Shortcut" keys, which are only available if Dial From Home Screeen is set to No under Phone --> Options --> General Options, are programmed by the OS and can not be assigned.
