Address book transition from 8703e to 8830

    Hey guys,

Just a quick question I have for all of you really experienced stackers. My cell phone company, Alltel, is going to be offering service on the 8830. Currently, I have an 8703e. Can I use the desktop software to switch my information from one model to a different one or will that cause me way to much stress? I am pretty much resigned to doing it manually, but wanted to know if there was an easier way to accomplish this. Thanks for any input or insight you can offer!

Yes, the Switch Device Wizard will take care of that for you. Im assuming you want contacts, browser favorites, etc. It will take care of that for you with just a few clicks.

Yikes -- don't do it manually. You can use the Switch Device wizard or sync via Outlook. The former method is recommended.

If you're on BES, enterprise activation should take care of this for you.

Has Alltel given a date on the 8830 release?
