Me too! 4.5/4.3 is avaliable only beta. I'm debating wheather to try it out it is at your own risk. I'm having major mem issues. I have Sprint. CDMA is always last to get technology. Hopefully, not much longer!

Alltel 8830 with 4.5.51 beta here. Have had it for a month with no real issues. Memory seems slighty more unstable than before, but I do have tons of apps loaded and the 8830 isn't known for its memory anyway. The html email and upgraded browser and Docs to Go make it def. worth uploading. I still don't have a loud ringer....something I have to deal with.

I would absolutely not switch back to the 4.2 os. Go for it. You have nothing to loseas you can always switch back.I also have the 88XX iphone theme added so it's like having a new phone allover again.

    Just loaded 4.5

Everything went ok. Verizon 8830 phone. Upgrade took about an hour. All features work so far. Even from a phone setup with BES.

Doesn't look like HTML email is working. I use Mail2web for my blackberry BES host. Great Service.

HTML will work. Go into email options in the settings and enable HTML and enable images and you are good to go. If you don't see the HTML option, then I suggest resending the service books to your handheld and then look for the HTML option again.

I'm surprised to hear so many endorsing 4.5. I had terrible experiences with it. Particularly with the memory issues enhanced.
