8830 - Mini USB Port for Headphone Use?

Can the 8830's mini USB port be used as an alternate headphone jack?
Motorola makes a mini-USB to 3.5mm adapter for their Razr phone, which allows the use of standard 3.5mm headphones.
I'm looking for an alternative to having to use the 8830's rather touchy 2.5mm headphone jack.

I went to Best Buy 2 days ago and they were selling a Motorola headphone that could connect to the mini-usb port. I was actually looking for wireless but balked at the $100 price. The mini-usb headphone was less than $50.

I'd shop around. I spent less than $50 on my Voyager 510. Price doesn't directly correlate to performance when it comes to bluetooth headsets. I spent a lot more on some very poor performing Motorola HS810's and HS850's. Read up on bluetooth headsets before buying.
