You have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the message, then click the menu button (button to the left of the track ball) and select Open Attachment.

The attachment must end in .WAV and must be a "proper" (whatever that means) non DRM protected WAV file. If you can open other attachments but not the WAV file, there's probably something funky about the file's format. If you can't open any attachments, you need to reload the OS and make sure you have the Attachment Service installed.

I can open attachments of other types but not audio - I've sent myself a bunch of different audio files/ formats that I created and still can't seem to find the "open attachment" option.

Looks like my corporate BES is not up to snuff, Vereizon tells me BES 4.0 isn't going to work.

Any applications out there that will allow the attachments to play?

Unfortunately, "open attachment" is not an option. Any other ideas?

as long as my corporate bes isn't actually "passing" the wav file there is nothing I can do....I traded it back in for a Treo, problem solved.
