Telus user going to Puerto Vallarta

Hello everyone:

As indicated I am going to Puerto Vallarta. While I'm there I know "calling" home will cost $$$ but waht about using Blackberry Messenger? What about email? Will I be charged for these? How does it work.

I have a friend who is on vacation in Colombia and he can BBM me on his Rogers SIM but when he inserts the Comcel SIM it no longer functions.
He is still on vacation so I have no idea about extra costs.

You should go to the TELUS Mobility site and check international roaming coverage. It'll let you know if you can use the data services and if you have coverage.

In the US it is $8/MB for roaming data. Seriously buy an old unlocked BlackBerry and get a prepaid SIM while on vacation. You'll save a tonne of money not using the Telus BlackBerry.
