    It's been exactly 24 hours since my BB push mail went down. I called AT&T this morning after 12 hours of no service. They spent over two hours before escalating it to RIM.
    Upon speaking to the tech support agent at RIM he gave me a case number, and said they were aware of the problem. He went on to say that it was an outage that was affecting "some, but not all users". When I asked if he had an estimate of how long before it would be up, of course he had no idea.

    Thus I waited until now to report it here. As the outage is going beyond 24 hours I felt it was time to advise everyone.

    It would be good to hear if any of you are affected.

    Just got off the phone with a fellow BB user here in CA who's carrier is T-Mobile. His BB mail has also been down as long as mine (now nearly 26 hrs). He also called his carrier which in turn escalated it to RIM. He got the same response that I did. System down for some users, no idea how much longer before its up & running.

    WOW 24+ hours??? Kinda makes me iffy on whether or not to add a second line to my acct now and bring back my Pearl for when I want/need a second line.

    I look at it this way. I have two lines with AT&T. And one line with T-Mobile. This current outage has nothing to do with either carrier, as it's RIM that is the cause. Also when I step back & look at the big picture, I don't know of any network that_ Never_ goes down. It's simply a fact of life. Then when I think about how much the BlackBerry has added to my freedom, it's all worth it.

    Yeah this is one of those "Hit or Miss" outages we see once in a while. I think even though no one at RIM will admit it is, the response from the general public the the Pearls, Curves and so on, was far more then they predicted, and the Server suffers from some growing pains.
