only thing is verizon really knows how to nickel and dime the hell out of its customer. Is that really worth it? I wouldn't think so.

I am a heavy internet user. I love my 8320 on Tmo, even more so with WiFi. I wouldn't use anything else, and certianly not the iphone. Ick.

Verizon and Sprint have EVDO and ATT has 3G. But no BB is 3G capable in the US yet. Once the Bold comes out, that changes, but only for ATT. TMO's 3G uses different frequencies than ATT. EDGE averages 50-125 kbps with a theoretical max of 384 kbps.

EVDO is more widespread than ATT's 3G network at the moment. I believe the BBs out there for those carriers operate on EVDO Rev 0 which averages 400-800 kbps with a max of 1.2 mbps. ATT 3G should be roughly the same with a current max of 3.6 mbps.

It just doesn't do what it was advertised to do...yet anyway and tmobiles network is so far behind all the others. I loved this phone for like a month and then it started just falling apart the trackball problem is killing me. I can't surf most of the time.phone opens media player and eveything else on its own. Calls my mom or even better makes an emergency call at 4am its just too sensitive I can't deal with this for two years. Sidenote I was harsh by calling tmo dumbasses they have actually been extremely helpful up until the one I talked to earlier.

Speed depends on many variables - your connection, the device processor, device memory, your distance tot he cell tower and the voice and data traffic (congestion) at the tower. What one gets is no real indication of what you will get.

I would say Verizon is one of if not the fastest. Also consider what dubdub said in the previous post. If you want to change from blackberry to something else consider that a lot of other phones can't multitask. The voyager being one. Also, consider that the iphone can't do certain things you may take for granted; such as copy and paste.
