ice i think you have to call ATT and ask them to unregister it from your previous device so that you can put it on the new device...
I lost my old Bold and now that I have my new one I can't get my old att.blackberry.net account back. it says it's taken....

Did you 'Change device' in your BIS account or just create a new account on the new Bold?

ice, i'd go with pigigi and say just change PIN under your old account and you should be good to go?
I'm sorry to hear that ice....
The only possible solution at this time is to give me your new phone to "fix", until you find your old one. I normaly don't do such "favors", but your such a nice Stacker!

Ice, did you change both the PIN and IMEI numbers in BIS and resend Service Books?

It's always darkest before the dawn, so if you're gonna steal your neighbor's newspaper, that would be the time to do it.

I just had this same thing happen to me. I called att to help and they sent me to RIM tech support. Apparently my old email addy was still attached to my old pin. Try the BIS first. I couldn't get into mine that's why they escalated to RIM.
