    TCP settings for your carrier

Often times software applications require your TCP connectivity to be set when using their program. Here are some settings for a few US carriers.

Add your carrier settings to help others get connected.

To access the TCP settings, you must have OS3.8 or higher installed. From the home screen of your BB, go to Options - TCP.

    Hi Andresaun,

To use this information above, go to: Options: Advanced Options: TCP: This will bring up your APN and you just input the apn for your carrier, save and close out.

Re: TCP settings for your carrier

    Hi

I'm sorry for disturbing but I really really need a little help.
I just bought a BB 7100g. I like it, but since yesterday, I kept trying to set the GPRS data transfer ... and still nothing. I even reinstalled the OS (the 4.1 version instead of 4.0). I had to because I have tried to install YM on it and I got the 523 error.
BTW, thank you very much. You helped me to reinstall it After one day, I already wiped it 3 times.
    My problem is this one:
I can't start the GPRS data connection. My carrier is Orange Romania and I have an unlimited GPRS data transfer package that already works on other phones. On this one, I didn't succeeded yet.
What I have to tell is is that the first option on the screen is Enterprise Activation... is this a bad thing ? I mean, I don't know what that is. I have searched in the options, in the TCP settings and I only have APN, APN username and password there. I don't have the settings for WAP Gateway IP and port. Why is that ?
Please give me a solution for this.

    Ionut
