    Looks like my problem is resolved after:
    1. Deleting offending account off of BIS
    2. Resending Service books
    3. Re-registering
    4. Battery pull
    5. Waiting about 20 min.
    6. Resending service books again
    7. Adding offending account back to BIS

    Thanks for all the help! Couldnt have done it without you all.

    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~i tell you what. This phone is driving me mad. It was doing fine, but now (for the past two days) the earthlink account doesn't work at all om my BB. My other accounts do. It went from downloading twice, to once, to none. I give!!!!

    Email is still not working.....I dont know what else to do. I followed all of my own steps.....stilll broken.

    Has any answer been found? I have the same duplication problem, with one e-mail being recied as "unknown".

    I just don't understand how RIM can let this go unfixed - this is clearly an issue on their end, isn't it?

    Gary, thanks so much for responding with an offer to help. Here's the story.

    A month ago, I signed up my newly purchased new and unlocked blackberry (bought on Ebay) after landing here in Sri Lanka, with Dialog as the local telecom/blackberry provider. For the first two weeks, everything was fine. I had my @mobileemail.vodafone.lk email address working fine as well as the @fastmail.fm email address that I had added using Dialog's web portal.

    After about two weeks, I started to get duplicate e-mails from my @fastmail.fm account. A first e-mail would arrive headered with "Recieved using: XXX@fastmail.fm", followed shortly by the same e-mail with a "Received using: Unknown".

    I had Dialog completely delete my BIS account and re-create it, after which I once again added the @fastmail.fm account. Bang! Started again.

    Then I deleted the account. Now I recieve one e-mail marked "Recieved using: Unknown" from my @fastmail.fm account even though the account is no longer even associated with my BB (at least according to the Dialog web portal)! WTF?
