quick newbie question
I have a bb 8700g with service from Tmobile. I'd like to be able to get access to the email that has dissapeared from my device as a result of the "keep messages" setting but hasn't been explicitly deleted. can somebody help me? I don't have BES and can't find an answer on the forum, though i'm sure I'm not the first to ask this simple question.
thanks in advance,

One an email goes beyond the "keep messages" range it's deleted. Since the BIS email firstname.lastname@example.org should never be given as your address to users (this is one of the many reason). You should be able to login to the account of the email you sync'd. E.g Aol email and access email from there.
However, if users are sending direct to your BIS carrier email it won't be accessible unless you are still using BIS 1.8.
You carrier isn't listed in your profile so won't be able to provide u with a link to login you your BIS account. If you already know the address u can login and check. If no message list is available then you are on BIS 2.0 and won't have access to forwarded mail other than via BB and the forwarded accounts.
hope this helps.
Hello mn1492, welcome to pinstack. Got some good info right above...
Let us know how it goes.
Nuts. The messages I'd like to retrieve were in fact sent to the tmo.blackberry.net account. For some reason my "keep messages" was set at 30 days (not anymore). Guess I am out of luck.
As for the BIS login - I checked that and the only thing it lets me do is add/edit accounts. No message list.
Thanks for the quick answers! Happy holidays to all...
