    New BIS Interface

I changed my Microsoft Exchange password and had to go into the new BIS to change the log in.

It looked nice and was much easier than the Web Client.

My only concern is if i don't have service, I can't make changes. Oh well, I guess I'm not getting e-mails if I don't have service either.

I liked the BIS. Another improvement for my BB experience.

The same webclient URL to access though right? I don't think my carrier has upgraded yet. Everything the same.

No URL at all. It's all from your BB Handheld. No access from a PC or Web. That's what is wild.

What's the URL from the handheld? OR are you refering to the mobile.blackberry.com new theme?

There should be an icon on the main screen for e-mail set and options. This is the new BIS. Now web interface from a PC or browser at all.

    Re: New BIS Interface

T-Mobile USA has done completely away with a web interface and the Blackberry provided e-mail.

The e-mail set up icon on my Blackberry serves as the ONLY way I can make changes to my T-Mobile/Blackerry provided BIS account. All access to my blackberry.net e-mail has to start from my device home screen.

I didn't think it was great at first, and it may still have its drawbacks. But it has been working for me so far and the transition to the new service was seamless. WTG T-Mobile.

I thought they only did away with the Inbox on the web interface. Are you saying that even the ability to configure your accounts is gone and only available from the device???

More Info from t-mobile's upgrade can be found here.

Here's a quick quote from the site,

"The upgrade eliminates the need for the BlackBerry Internet E-mail™ Web site. All e-mail functions can be performed from the BlackBerry handheld or the source e-mail account. As a result, on October 1, 2005, the current BlackBerry Internet E-mail Web site will be shut down."

    Re: New BIS Interface

No wonder I couldn't pull up the page when I logged into my My T-Mobile account. I kept getting this message: "We apologize, you do not have access to the My E-mail service. Please use the e-mail solution provided with your wireless handheld."

When I had my 7100t I could still log in and do this.

Actually if u have T-Mobile like me, u can log into your My T-Mobile account and make changes there. You can add up to 10 addresses, change your signature and set time zone options. You just can't go in and delete messages, reconcile, etc. That has to be done from the headset.
