    OMG im so mad rite now............ i have cellular south and all i want is to be able to tether my phone to my laptop.. i have tried every thing ... i have the username as my MIN@cs3g.com and i have tried passwords as soc. sec. number... account password .. esn hex.. and the otha one... i am frustrated.. how did believeer person ..wel l how did you do it if you could please send me a private message or somethin please......

    best thing to do is switch to AT&T! like me! I got a nokia n95 and i use skyfire i have the plan with tethering now and my bill is right at 150$ a months but its worth it. The 3G is nice. Everyone else in my family got a pearl so there are about 5 pearls running around my house right now. =)

    Thumbs up teather works with blackberry and cellularsouth

    it may not be supported by cellular south but it certainly does work
    when they say its not supported that just means its not written in their book yet

    dial #777
    User name is your sip number @cs3g.com
    password is your esn number hexidecimal

    you can find your sip# by typing ##000000 on your phone.
    so far i've teathered my blackberry 8830 to my desktop wired. my laptop bluetooth. and my nokia N810, bluetooth
    its pretty SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    teather works with blackberry and cellularsouth

    I have 8830 also, sip number is my cell#@cs3g.com
    Does my esn # need to be caps?
    Do I need to add the extra initialization stuff in the modem set up?

    Please help
