    Any suggestions would be great...

BIS doesn't regognize my domain and know how to handle it like a Gmail domain as it is.

I doubt there is a solution but any light on the issue would be great!

Who knows, RIM may find hosted Gmail not suitable for BIS or the most likely issue that they probably don't have this implemented yet.

What is your domain and what type of mail server is it?

Re: Gmail hosted domain with BIS 2.1???

The domain is a Gmail hosted domain (the MX records get set to Google's, it's basicly identicle to mail.google.com, googlemail.com or gmail.com).

    ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. (MX RECORD)

I sign into Google Talk with my email address on this domain and everything there works correct.

Where it asks for your username and password, type in rubbish such as uiw@wekjhwer.com

BIS will ask you wnat kind of mail account you're using. Choose the "Outlook express" option.

In the next screen, change the email address to the correct address, the password to the correct password and put ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM in the mails server address box.

Re: Gmail hosted domain with BIS 2.1???

I can try that but am not looking to use the POP3 protocol.

I'm interested in using the new BIS 2.1 push feature for Gmail...

Man that would be sweet to get this going.
