I keep getting a message on the DM that my encryption key is out of ... BlackBerry Internet & Email forum
I keep getting a message on the DM that my encryption key is out of date. Then I have to move the mouse to make a random key. Then, after i create the key, I get a message that "the computer does not know its message account address. Either the messaging system is not configured properly or this massaging system is not supported." I have been using DM on this computer from the beginning and have not changed anything until that started popping up. Any ideas? It is a PITA to have to keep going back to generate a new key and make sure that everything syncs like it supposed to. Used to be a seamless process. Any ideas?

Are you using redirector?
thats the only reason he would be getting that message. firegeek, the device does that bc your device is provisioned with the desktop service books for communication with the redirector software to push your emails to your device. its a way of making an encryption key so that your emails can not be intercepted when sent wirelessly
I just started getting the message within the last few days. Am I going to have to create a new key every time? Is there a setting to do that? I have it set to automatic and it still requires me to do it every time. I did dl the most recent DM but have yet to install. Think that would help? Btw, I am on BIS. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
i think every 30 or 60 days the redirector resets the key and you have to regenerate a new one
