    Hi all,

Can someone please help me ?
All contacts inported from Outlook came with 55(Brasil country code) (21)(rio de Janeiro city code) ahead of the phone number, or, when someone call me, the number 21 shows up before the phone number. So, in both condition BB cant dial them back. I need to remove the 55(21) or the (21) to dial back.

Is there a way to, at least, the 55(21) do not be imported from Outlook to BB ?

    Thanks in advance.
Wish you all a Happy New Year !

    Regards,
    Gustavo

    lgbarroca, Welcome to PinStack.

I don't know of any method of automatically deleting this when transfering the contacts during a sync. You might try setting up your Smart Dialing options (Call Log/Options/Smart Dialing) and see if that lets you use the numbers in your contacts list as is. Add the Country Code and Area Code and the number of digits that are necessary in your area code.

Let us know if there is anything else we can do to help with this problem or your BB.

    Hi all,

I´ve set (Call Log/Options/Smart Dialing) to:
    Country code = unknown (was=55)
    National number lenght = 8 (was=10)

Now, when someone call me from Rio de Janeiro, just his number shows up. The 55 and the 21 gone.
So I can store the number as it is and also call it back fine as well.
The numbers imported from Outlook, I am changing them manually in the device it self.
Thanks for the help on that.

    Regards,
    Gustavo
