Changing the default From account on VZW 8330
I can't seem to change the default Send From Account on my new 8330 from Verizon. I have read the existing threads I could find.
The key issue seems to be that the BIS interface from Verizon does not have the Advanced Options that other threads reference...
Any advice here? Is there a way to set it throught the device itself?
Sounds like you need to reset your BIS settings. Make sure you have your other email accounts listed there then push service books back out. Goodluck.
You can do this through either the OTA BIS interface on your BB or through the web login to BIS.
Log in using your BIS info and choose to edit your email account. Fill in "Email Account Name" with your email address that you want shown in the Send field when you send emails. Fill in the "Reply-to" field with the same email address and all replies will be directed to the email you input. That should be all you need to do to set the default Send From account.
This default is set from within the device itself.

OPTIONS- Advanced - Default Settings....
However I think you will find that no matter what the default address is I think you will find that the Blackberry will always send from the last email address you used (outbound). You can check or select the sent from address in the menu of the compose screen.
THAT'S it! Thanks Gary. Too lazy to get up and look at my device!

::edit:: Geez, if you understood that last sentence, more power to you! It's getting late here on the east coast!
