BIS & Gmail (pop) some emails don't come through
I am on a Bold with 184.108.40.206 and have BIS set to push my Google Apps email over POP3 (default).
Everything was working fine until about 2 days ago where I started to notice that every few emails
One or two emails won't get pushed to my BB.
I can see them through Gmail's web and Gmail's BB app but they never get pushed.
I resent service books.
I deleted and recreated the account settings on AT&T's BIS.
I changed my Gmail's password (and updated BIS).
I re-registered my BB through the Host Routing Table.
I am not using Outlook (or any other POP/IMAP client) I only use the web interface and the BB.
This is going on for 2 days now. Is anyone else seeing this with BIS and Gmail?
Is there anything else that I might be missing and that is worth a try?
Hmm... mine seem to be working well.
The one thing I do know is that I have my gmail setup to use IMAP. Not sure why this would make a difference.
It's worth a try I guess. To change it, go to Settings (top right corner of the Gmail home screen). In the tab "Forwarding and POP/IMAP", I have disabled POP and enabled IMAP.
I have this problem every now an then also. I'm sure it has nothing to do with your OS. Why it happen I could never come up with an answer.

I think you are right about the fact that it is not a OS thing since I have 4 more Gmail hosted domains (on BIS) and the other 4 work just fine.
Sorry I can't explain it, but, it happens to me once in a blue moon. By no means is BIS perfect. If it happens on a regular basis then I become concerned and start playing around in BIS and make sure there isn't a momentary network outage with my carrier.
