    Hi Thanks for reading

    Newbie question really I have a BB pearl and use it in conjunction with BIS on O2 in the UK. If I select the auto forward option on my BIS email account page to forward any messages I get on my device to another email account i.e one on my pc will I get a message appear on my BB telling me that the email received has also been forwarded to another address?

    Hope this makes sense and thanks for any help.

    Auto forward explained...

    When you specify an Auto forward email address, the BlackBerry® Internet Service automatically forwards a copy of the complete email messages, including all applicable email message attachments and content that you receive on your BlackBerry device to the email address that you specify.

    So yes, you will still get the message on your BB.

    Garyf thanks for that. Sorry to be a pain but will there be any indication on my device that the email has been forwarded elsewhere? i.e a message displayed like" email also forwarded to personal@hotmail.com?" Also is it just received emails that are forwarded or sent as well?

    I have a question. i have a BB 8130, when i send an email from the computer in my Gmail account or from my BB it comes back to my inbox on my BB and i know that its because the BB does not have a "sent" box to place it in. BUT is there a way i can shut off the return/notifiy email to my BB. i mean cause it goes to my regular Gmail account aleady i dont need it to come to my BB as well, but i do want JUST new mail to get fowarded to my BB. am i confusing you?? i know the problem i am having just hard for me to explain. i hope someone can help me out. thanks
