    apn problem! heelp!

Hello. I'm from Cyprus and I have a blackberry curve 8300 on bis. My carrier is MTN Cyprus. So here's the problem. As you may know some 3rd party applications won't connect through bis but only through apn. So I asked the apn settings from my carrier and my problem was solved. I was able to get applications to work over apn. But now that I've upgraded my blackberry to the new 4.5 os apn settings don't work. My carriers apn settings are fixed under the tcp settings but applications using apn won't work anymore. I've checked the apn settings again in case my carrier changed them but apn settings are the same! I've also try using my sim with my old sony erricson phone using the same apn settings and it does work. I can't figure out where the problem on my bb is. And all this happened after I upgraded to os v4.5. Before it used to work just fine. Anybody on this one?

You may have been here but if not, look into it here. Good luck.

I've checked the website you gave me. Apn settings are the same one as I was using with the previous version. I am using the same apn but the tcp connection for all applications that work through tcp don't work with the new 4.5 os even though the settings I'm using are the same. And I don't think that the problem is caused by a compatibility issue.
