ahhhhh please help, email keeps repeating itself every 3 min

Ok,
The messages just stopped on their own after about 2 hours (last message was 1 p.m. and its now 2). So far so good (I didn't have to wipe the phone, just delete the service books and remove DM from the PC twice). Thanks,

P.S. How can I delete the 1000 messages on the device? How can I sort by sender and erase only those messages?

i think there is a search function on the messages menu you could try...

But how do you delete them all without deleting anything else? (i.e. select multiple messages to remove)

well, i just put in the name of the person who sent me the email/text, didn't change anything else...from the menu i chose "search"...it brought up search results...from the menu i chose "delete prior" and it took care of all of it...

oh, i did scroll down some to make sure it was pulling up only emails from the person i typed in...

That worked.
The delete prior wasn't viewable at first, i needed to access the full menu.
