    A red X?

I just got a red X next to an email message that I just sent. I assume that means that the send failed. Is that correct? I can't find my instruction book right now.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~yes you are correct. For what ever reason the attempt to send has failed.

And if the resend doesnt work, just restart the BB and resend again. It sometimes happens to me.

Open the message and look at the message status.

Sometimes I have found turning the wireless off then back on gets me going if a funky connection is my only problem.

    Re: A red X?

If all that the other posters said does not work here is another way to correct the situation. Go to options, advanced option, then service books. Delete the service books for the email account you are using (if you are using BIS delete Webclient[CMIME], if you are on BES delete Desktop[CMIME], also the service book for the email address, if you are sendind MMS delete MMS[CMIME]. Go back to options, advanced options, then host routing table, click the trackwheel and do a register now 3 times. Go to the home screen and turn on wireless. Hope this helps.

Actually, it turned out that the problem was a full mailbox at the other end. Thanks for all the suggestions!

    Re: A red X?

I usually encounter a RED X whenever I try to forward an email.

Example I get email from person A and respond. I decide to include another person on the email and attempt to forward email that I responded to person A with and I get RED X.

In otherwords I cannot forward my response to another person.
