    Question 8310 not sending emails

    I added 2 email accounts to an 8310 for a family member, 1 for work and 1 for her personal email. They both worked fine, now for some reason the work email addy does not like to send emails, yet it receives them just fine.

    I've gone to the email setup on the device and validated that email with her password and everything shows to be working properly. I re-register and resend service books, yet still no sending capabilities. i've even deleted that account and re-added it. still nothing.......

    8310/BIS/4.3.whatever the ATT OS is.


    Any ideas, suggestions, something i'm missing??? help me fix this plz

    Try a new sim card Mud, sometimes that is all it needs.

    maybe something was changed on the admin side? at work? for it to all the sudden stop sending...since it was working before?

    well I asked our IT guy and he said he hasn't made any changes to our exchange server. i'm thinking he has done updating and he just doesn't remember. you know how those i.t. guys are.

    so a new SIM will work? how big of a pain in the arse is it to transfer stored info from 1 sim to another?

    Not too bad some cell phones make it easy to copy directly from Sim to phone and viseversa. I would try that n see, since nothing else has worked. Hope this helps...
