    Back to Linux!!

So, as I stated I would probably do (in a separate thread), I've set up my EeePC netbook to dual-boot Windows 7 and Linux. This time I'm using the MeeGo distro of Linux and lemme tell ya, it is very fast. The internet over Google Chrome absolutely races. Meanwhile, if I want to back up my Berry or do something with it, all I have to do is boot the computer into Win7 and there's Desktop Manager 6 ready to go! If I need to do the mundane like writing a document or working a spreadsheet, I'll be using the Win7 side of the drive too. But for my internet browsing, Facebook and YouTube etc I'll be over on MeeGo.

Couple of weeks later . . . have switched from MeeGo to Ubuntu linux, still dual-boot with Win 7. Ubuntu is more stable, has a greater selection of software, and has a more "adult" ui. It is still faster than snot!
