Looking at some reviews from different sites, it looks great. Excellent accuracy and keeps tracking at driving speeds.

What I'm wondering is if this GPS unit, along with my Curve 8300, will allow me to get turn-by-turn voice directions? Is there a program I can use on my 8300 that allows this?

Re: New to GPS. Turn-by-turn directions?

You just need to make sure that the receiver is compatible with your BB. Making sure it pairs up correctly.

Then you need software that works on the BB with turn by turn directions. Mapquest or Telenav, are the pay ones and then there's AmaZe, and Nav4all which are the free ones.

Not sure which ones will work with a GPS puck...I know Mapquest has pretty good compatibility in that area. Might want to research it. There was also a older version of Mapquest floating around for the curve which was free. Dunno if you can find it or not.

    Hope that helps...good luck
