Hey folks! I am breaking my head trying to figure out if this is possible. I have searched everywhere but havent been able to find what im looking for.

What i want to know is if its possible to use my internal blackberry 8800 gps externally via bluetooth? Basically what im looking on doing is pair the 8800 via bluetooth to my laptop so i can use tracking software on my laptop using blackberry 8800 internal gps receiver? Would this even be possible?

Well any info provide will be very greatful, Thanks in advance.

    Chris

The Sprint 8830 does this, I know from experience. However i cant speak for other carriers since the GPS is blocked on most devices.

    Re: Is this possible?

Is this a reality? I'm really interested in this for a backup GPS for my laptop. I'm ordering the BT card for it today and would rather use my phone than carry another device on an upcoming trip.

    Anyone?

    thanks,

    Bob
