hey guys, new to the phone and just have some simple questions. first, what navigation software is best to pair up with a gps receiver? i heard good stuff about TomTom MOBILE 5 but not sure if blackberries are compatible with it. also is there an easier way to switch the phone from vibrate to ring? does the phone have the option of ring and vibrate simutaneously?

Hi and welcome to pinstacks. First off are you using data or not? If you do not have access to data, you should just wait, as there are no ways to access maps. If you have data BB maps or google maps are good. You can dl these ota. Ill get you the links later on. Hope this helps ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ |

If you hold down the # key, you can switch from vibrate to loud. And there is an option for vibrate + tone setting in the profile options.

Disctu 1 go to profiles 2 move down to Advanced 3 click on which ever profile you want to edit (should give you a list of different alerts, MMS, SMS, phone, etc.) 4 then edit which ever type of alert you want to edit |
