I cannot locate a satalite and it will not pin point where i am, The maps works fine, and will calculate a route, but it is not live..

Are you trying this outside or inside? The first satellite lock always seems to take a long time. Give it chance to obtain a lock without disruption.

Could take a few minutes, depending upon where the device was at the last GPS fix. GPS starts from its last known position trying to figure out where it is by finding at least 3 satellites. You need to be outside, in a fairly open spot. Trees and tall buildings can degrade signal acquisition.

    Re: GPS Assistance!

I am using Telenav in London UK and I had this problem of GPS hanging on for ever. However I called Telenav support people who are extremely helpful and the guy advised me to turn the 8800 off from its off switch and then take the battery out and leave it for 15 seconds and put it in and go to Options>advance>gps and hit the menu key and refresh the gps .
Lone and behold it detected 7 sats in 2 seconds, so perhaps you would like to go this way.
    Good luck
